For over 75 years Gilmore Electric Co., Inc. has been at the forefront of the electrical construction industry across the state of Florida.
Gilmore Electric Co., Inc. is a fourth generation electrical contracting company that was incorporated in 1941 by Robert Gilmore who was Owner and President until his retirement in 1962 when son-in-law Nelson Loveland became President. Nelson Loveland retired from the company in 1986 and son David J. Loveland became the Owner and President. In 2014 David’s son, Danny J. Loveland, became President and is now the current Owner of Gilmore Electric.

MEET THE TEAM
David and Carol Loveland
David J. Loveland was the Owner of Gilmore Electric since his father retired in 1986, and worked for Gilmore Electric since 1972. Carol Loveland has been our office administrator for over 25 years. David and Carol have been married for over 48 years and enjoy spending any free time with their 10 grandkids and children.
Danny J. Loveland
Danny J. Loveland started in the field working for Gilmore Electric in 1992, and now serves as the company’s President and the State License Holder. Danny has been married to his wife for over 15 years and they have two children. They enjoy spending their weekends hunting, fishing, and motocross racing with their two sons.
Steve Rogers started in the field for Gilmore Electric in 2002, and now holds the position of Vice President and Project Manager. Steve has experience in almost every position within the company so he has a great well rounded base to help lead the company. He and his wife have 3 children. They spend most of their time either in the woods hunting or on the boat fishing.
Josh Miller holds the position of General Manager and Treasurer for Gilmore Electric. He attended Auburn University and ultimately earned his MBA. He manages all aspects of the business as well as project manages some projects as well. He and his wife have been married for over 12 years an have one son. They love the beach and anything that has to do with the water.
Bob Barrington is the Chief Estimator for Gilmore Electric and has been with the company since 2012. He has been in the electrical industry for over 40 years and is a tremendous resource for our company. Bob and his wife have been married for over 42 years and they have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
Hal DeThorne is an Estimator and Project Manager for the company. Hal is a transplant from upstate New York, but has been in the electrical industry for 30 years. He has one son and enjoys spending his free time with his wife on their boat, fishing
Lisa Gilbert is our Bookkeeper and Office Manager. She has been serving our company since 2013 and keeps everything moving smoothly. She has two children, one grandchild, and has been married to her husband for over 25 years and they enjoy spending their weekends on the golf course.
Collin is our Purchasing Manager and Asst. Project Manager. He manages the purchasing of all materials, rental fleet, and tool inventory for our field operations. He also helps the Project Managers with submittals, deliveries, and anything else they may need to make our projects successful. He is a proud graduate of FEAA and is currently studying for his Journeyman’s license.
Stephanie is our Office Administrator. She helps keeps all departments of our company running smoothly and efficiently.
